Commonwealth War Graves Huldenberg

At the cemetery at the church in Huldenberg liggen 15 Commonwealth war graves from the Second World War.

There are four soldiers who were killed in May 1940:

There is the crew of the Wellington bomber DV552:

On July 31, 1942 at 2341 departed from Lichfield airbase, the Wellington DV552 with the mission a raid over the city of Düsseldorf in Germany. The aircraft was shot down over Belgium by the German night-fighter Lt. Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer and then crashed down at 0330 in Huldenberg. All six crew members lost their lives. They are all buried in this cemetery.

Also there is the crew of the Wellington bomber BJ651:

On August 24, 1942 at 20.35 departed from airbase Snaith, the Wellington BJ651 with the mission a raid over the city of Frankfurt in Germany. The aircraft was shot down over Belgium by the German night-fighter Lt. Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer and then crashed down near Huldenberg. All five crew members lost their lives. They are all buried in this cemetery.
