Memorial Sgt Pilot Bruce Hancock

This plaque commemorates Sgt Pilot Bruce Hancock RAFVR. He died on 18 August 1940 when he rammed a German bomber with an unarmed aircraft, when on a training flight from nearby RAF base Windrush.
