Remains 155 mm C17S Field Howitzer Mimoyecques
This remains of a heavily damaged Canon de 155 C modčle 1917 is standing at the final Interchange to Museé de la base de V3 de Mimoyecques. This gun was destroyed during Operation Overlord in 1944, as a large number of these guns were handed over to the Germans after the capitulation of France in 1940. A least 100 pieces were appointed to the Atlantikwall, others were sold to Axis-ally Finland.
