Destroyed Church Muizen
On 23 November 1944, Muizen Church was largely destroyed by a V1-bomb. The damaged churchtower remained and is now a memorial.
Between 5 November 1944 and 14 March 1945, Mechelen was attacked by many V1-bombs. In total, 422 people were killed and 71 missing.
