War Memorial St Austell

This memorial commemorates the residents of St Austell who were killed or missing in World War I (200 names) and World War II (144 names).

Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial.

To the glory of God and in sacred memory of the men of ancient parish of St Austell who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War 1914-1918

And in memory of those of this area who lost their lives in the War of 1939-1945
