War Memorial Exmouth

This memorial commemorates the residents of Exmouth who were killed or missing in World War I and World War II. Originally it was a memorial commemorating Queen Victoria's Jubilee. In 1995 the flag poles and the war memorial were added. The text on the memorial is:

SECOND WORLD WAR
1939-1945
THIS FLAGPOLE MEMORIAL WAS DEDICATED ON 20TH AUGUST 1995 TO MARK THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE END OF WORLD WAR II AND OFFER THANKSGIVING FOR ALL THOSE MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN FROM ALL NATIONS WHO SUFFERED AND MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE
