American War Memorial Great Notley

This memorial is located in White Courts, which is a residential housing estate of some 550 plus homes. On this location was during World War II the 8th American Air Force military hospital, built in the grounds of White Court which was previously a large detached house.

The memorial was dedicated in June 1992 to coincide with the 50th Anniversary US Forces in England - 1942-1992.
