Festung Pillau - Fort "Stiehle"

A torpedo factory was established within this fort during the Second World War. Prisoners of Stalag 1A were forced to work here. On 26 January 1945, a large explosion from the inside destroyed a large part of the fort. Shortly after, it was abandoned and not used in the defence of Pillau in April 1945.
