German War Cemetery Lohheide

This War Cemetery contains 155 German and 16 Hungarian graves.
Of these, 133 died in the military hospital in Bergen en 58 fell in April 1945 in the area Celle-Soltau.
Among the dead are the remains of a total of 29 members of the SS guards & the commandant staff of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.

In front of the German War Cemetery Lohheide in Bergen-Höhne there is a Memorial for the victims who were nursed or died in the Hospital in Bergen during the Second World War.
