Statue General Maczek

This statue has been erected for the honor of the Polish soldiers and General Maczek who liberated Tielt on 8 september 1944.
The statue gives you some information about the First Polish Armoured Division, like the route the division took (Falaise to Wilhelmshaven) and the symbol of the division.
