Memorial Thomas D. Howie

This is the Sainte-Croix church where the corpse of Thomas D. Howie was laid down after the liberation of Saint-Lô. On the second picture the coffin of Howie can be seen in front of the destroyed church.

On the church is a small plaque to commemorate this fact.
