The 'Malowany Dwor' is a former palace that was used by the Gestapo as a prison during the occupation. The NKVD took over the place after the liberaton of Cracow in January 1945. A group of nationalist AK members were detained here after the war. It currently houses the Cracow Archeological Museum.
