Memorial Murdered Residents Hameau des Crottes

This memorial is to commemorate 16 residents of Hameau des Crottes who were murdered by the German Brandenburg division as reprisal measurement for an action of the resistance group Bir Hakeim.

On the memorial the village Labastide-de-Virac is written, but the murdered residents were from Les Crottes. Since then, no people lived anymore in the Hamlet.
