Dundee Submarine Memorial

This memorial commemorates the crew members of submarines which operated from Dundee in World War II and never returned.

This memorial was built to commemorate the crews lost in WWII in 2 Dutch, 2 British, 1 Norwegian and 1 Russian submarine from the 9th Submarine Flotilla based in Dundee.

The memorial was designed and built by artists Paul Grime and Jeremy Cunningham as part of the Dundee City Councils public art programme. It was funded by Unicorn Properties.
