Commonwealth War Cemetery Kemmel Chateau

There are 1,135 Commonwealth burials of the First World War in the cemetery and 21 from the Second World War.

The burials from the Second World War are of soldiers who died during the Allied withdrawal ahead of the German advance of May 1940 and are lying left of the entrance of the cemetery.

The Kemmel Chateau Commonwealth war cemetery contains one French war graves of the Second World War. The grave is of a colonial soldier who fell in May 1940, during the Allied retreat from France.
