War Memorial St Canice Cathedral Kilkenny

A second memorial commemorates the soldiers of the Royal Irish Regiment who were killed or missing in the Great War (World War I).

Plaques in this cathedral commemorate:
- Samuel Cecil Webb who was killed in the Great War (World War I).
- Robert George Buchanen Riddell who was killed at Spion Kop on 24 January 1900 in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902).
