Plaques Old Town Hall Appingedam

The 'Royal Winnipeg Rifle Regiment' plaque mentions that they captured the coastal guns at Delfzijl. This is wrong, they captured the battery 'Dollart-Süd'.

There are also plaques dedicated to local resistance fighters. Text on the plaques:
