War Memorial Walla Walla

This memorial commemorates the residents of Walla Walla who died in World War I or World War II or other wars and conflicts.

The pine tree has grown from seeds of the Lone Pine tree, which became a symbol of the fighting in Gallipoli and especially the Battle of Lone Pine, in the First World War.

Next to the memorial stands a 25 pounder gun.
