Commonwealth War Graves L'Herbaudiere

There are 40 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-45 war commemorated on L'Herbaudiere Communal Cemetery, 22 of which are unidentified. one of the burials could not be precisely located and is commemorated by a Special Memorial marked "Buried near this spot".

The majority of the graves here are those of victims of the "Lancastria," sunk by enemy action on 17th June 1940 off St. Nazaire.
