Former Execution Site Veliko Brezarjevo brezno
Some 800 members of the fascist Slove Home Guard were executed here by Yugoslav partisans in May 1945. After complains from the local community about contaminated water, the partisans forced German POW's to open the grave in June 1945 and to rebury the corpes elsewhere. The Germans were shot afterwards and dumped in the grave they dug.
