Memorial Burma Star Association

Erected by the British Columbia Branch of the Burma Star Association, this memorial is a half size replica of the memorial in Kohima India. A BC Parks sign explains the significance of the Burma Campaign in World War II and the connection to that park. The reverse of the sign lists the members of the Burma Star Association in British Columbia. The memorial at the Stolz Pool in Cowichan River Provincial Park is dedicated in memory of all who lost their lives in the WWII Burma Campaign.

Location
Cowichan River Provincial Park day use area. From the boat launch a short path leads to the monument. Use the entrance near 5740 Riverbottom Rd W, Cowichan Valley, BC to access the day use area.
