Canadian Landingsmonument Paulinapolder Biervliet
The landings monument commemorates the landing of the ninth battalion of the brigade of the Highland Light Infantery of Canada at that place on October 9, 1944. From the Paulinapolder and another landings point at Hoofdplaat were the "Canadian liberation route" towards Belgium.
