Ship Wreck "Hinko Maru"

The "Hinko Maru" was a Japanese transport ship that set sail as part of a convoy from Tanapag harbor towards Japans on 11 June 1944. This convoy was attacked by the US Navy Task Force 58 on 12 June 1944 and the "Hinko Maru" was hit by a torpedo. Today, the wreck of this ship can be seen grounded in the Chichijima bay.
