Museum Ship "USS Potomac"

The "USS Potomac" was the presidential yacht of President Franklin Roosevelt between 1936 and 1945. This ship played a role in the signing of the Atlantic Charter in 1941. Franlin President Roosevelt supposedly went on "vacation" to Cape Cod; however he secretly changed ships, proceeding to Newfoundland where he signed the Allied treaty, while the USS Potomac acted as a decoy.
