Memorial Heinrich Maria Davringhausen

This plaque is located in the pavement of the Adalbertstraße. It commemorates the fact that the well-known artist Heinrich Maria Davringhausen was born here.

Because the paintings of Heinrich Maria Davringhausen fell under the ‘Degenerate Art’, he had to flee out of Germany, together with his Jewish wife.
