Jewish Cemetery Haaren

This Jewish cemetery existed since 1839. After the Kristallnacht, the cemetery was destroyed. In 1997, a number of tombstones was rediscovered in a private area. In 1998 these were merged into a monument, which also contains a plaque with the names of those buried here.

The plaque in the pavement is part of the project "Wege Gegen Das Vergessen" (Ways Against Forgetting).
