Commonwealth War Graves Stratford-Upon-Avon Cemetery

Stratford-upon-Avon Cemetery contains 22 First World War burials ( 20 British, 1 Canadian and 1 Australian) mostly from the hospital at Clopton House .. During the Second World War, there was a unit of the Royal Canadian Air Force based at Wellesbourne Mountford airfield and of the 137 Second World War burials (most of them forming a war graves plot), 97 are of Canadian airmen. The cemetery also contains graves of 6 Italian, 5 New Zealand , 4 German, 4 Czech and 2 Australian servicemen.
