Jewish Memorial Synagogue Coevorden

The Jewish monument commemorates the 124 Jewish residents of Coevorden who were deported and killed by the occupying forces during the Second World War.
A plaque hangs on the site of the former synagogue. This contains the names of the 124 names of victims and the text:

Names of Jewish townspeople killed in 1940-1945.

I will never give them an eternal name
will be eradicated. Isaiah 56-58.

The memorial stone has the following text in Dutch and Hebrew:

Remember, Don't Forget.
October 2, 1942.
