German Fortified Positions Hartmannswillerkopf
These beautiful German fortified positions are the silent witnesses of the Battle of Hartmannswillerkopf (19 January - 22 December 1915). A total of 30.000 casualties (15.000 on each side) were the cost of this battle.
The positions are preserved can be visited these days.
