Fotress Modlin - Fort XVI Czarnowo
This fort was built as part of the Modlin fortress in the period 1912-1915 by the Russians. It was bombarded by the German army in 1915 and forced the Russian garrison to retreat. The fort also saw fierce fighting in 1939 and 1945.
