Hohenzollern Redoubt

The Hohenzollern Werk (Hohenzollern Redoubt) was a German fortification during the First World War and was considered to be the strongest defensive-work on the whole of the front. The British tried to capture it in the period 25 September - 15 October 1915, but failed. The British Army lost 3.763 men in the Battle of the Hohenzollern Redoubt.
