Festung Krakau - Fort 45 "Zielonki"

Fortress Zielonki was built between 1884 and 1886 as part of the Austro-Hungarian Festung Krakau. Since 1999, the fort serves as the luxurious hotel "Twierdza".

During the German occupation, Zielonki was used as Wehrmacht depot. Fort 45 Zielonki had 3 (heavy) artillery batteries under its command, which can be visited nowadays.
