War Memorial Picton

This memorial was erected in 1920 by the Prince Edward County Council in memory of the men of Prince Edward County who fought and fell in the Great War. In 1950 a smaller monument was added to the memory of those who died in World War Two. A tribute to the fallen in Korea was later added to the reverse side. The names are grouped by the town the fallen came from within Prince Edward County, Ontario.
The Column bears the badge of the 21st Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force which was raised in Kingston Ontario in 1914.
