Commonwealth War Graves Communal Cemetery Zeist

Zeist Communal Cemetery contains a collective grave of two British pilots who were killed on 27 June 1940, when their plane was shot down by a German fighter plane during an air fight.

The grave has a private headstone containing the text:
O VALIANT HEARTS
WHO TO YOUR GLORY CAME

PILOT OFFICER R.A. PERCY
SERGEANT A.M. CLARK

DIED FOR THEIR COUNTRY
JUNE 27th 1940
