This memorial commemorates the residents of Orchies who were killed or missing in World War II. It was inaugurated on November 18, 1951, and consists of a laurel-crowned wall in front of which three figures are depicted: a Patriot, a Franc-Tireur, and a deportee.
Above the figures is the inscription: "Massacred, Executed, Tortured."
Next to the war memorial for World War II, a stele was erected as a tribute to the veterans of the conflicts in North Africa and the foreign operations.
