The Mine Craters of Leintrey

On 16 July 1916, four mines were detonated underneath the French lines. An entire company (100-150 men) of the 162e régiment d'infanterie was blown up. Today, the craters (each 60 meters in diameter and 15 to 20 meters deep) can be visited.
