Maginot Line - Fort Joux
The modernised fortr at Joux was besieged by the Wehrmacht from 16 to 24 June 1940.
The garrison consisted of men from the 23rd BILA (Battalion of Light Infantry of Africa) and 170th RAP.(Parachute Artillery Regiment).
