Atlantikwall - Batterie H.K.B. 6/980 Torgauten (593)

H.K.B. 6/980 Torgauten (593) was a German coastal battery, built between April and May 1941. The main armanant composed of four 10cm K17/04 pieces. After the war, the battery was extended and modernised by the Norwegian army.

The battery today:
It is currently a museum. The camouflaged command post (picture 1) shows an exhibition about the local resistance movement between 1940 and 1945. During the summer months, guided tours are given.
