War Memorial Sint-Pauwels

This memorial commemorates the residents of Sint-Pauwels who died in the First and Second World War.

Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial.

On the column in front is the text: "To our fallen soldiers",
including 10 names.
At the bottom of the pedestal: "War 1940 – 1945"
Fallen soldiers : 2 names
Politically deportees : 4 names

On the sides: "For God and Fatherland", underneath 4 names of soldiers.
The other side : "To our tortured claimed", followed by 2 names.

On the back is the text: "The posterity do not forget him who before
gave the fatherland his life".
