Fort Kugelbake

Kugelbake was built between 1869-1879 and further one modernised till 1911. A flak battery with four 10,5 cm pieces was placed on top of the fort shortly before the outbreak of World War Two, but saw little action during the war. The fort was taken over by British forces on 8 May 1945.
