Museum Dunkirk 1940 -Operation Dynamo-

This interesting museum is located in an old bastion and provides information about the Battle of Dunkirk and Operation Dynamo; the evacuation from Dunkirk.

On display are photos, dioramas and various items from the Second World War, such as various aircraft engines and other items salvaged from the Channel. The evacuation can be found from day to day. There is also a film available to view.

In June 1940, the headquarters of the Allied Army was located in these bastions. The plaque hangs on the outside of the museum.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
