Ravensbrück Concentration camp

At Ravensbrück women's concentration camp, the SS kept imprisoned more than 130.00 woman and children, but also 20.000 men. Between 1939 and 1945, tens of thousands of them, coming from more than 40 nations, were killed.

Today, Ravensbrück Memorial Museums keeps traces and records, enhances remembrance and research and creates a place of active learning and encounter.
