Memorial Italian cruiser Raimondo Montecuccoli

The Italian cruiser Raimondo Montecuccoli was active during the Second World War. She participated in the Battle of Punta Stilo and in the Battle of Pantellaria, where she hit enemy ships. On 4 December 1942, she was heavily damaged by bombers in Naples harbor. After repair, she was involved in the defending of Sicily.

She is scrapped in 1964. The forward tree and a dual artillery mount were placed as memorial in the Cittą della Domenica (Sunday City) recreational park near Perugia.
