Whyalla Maritime Museum

This museum was established in 1988. It shows more aspects than only naval history, but also as a main attraction the museum ship HMAS Whyalla.

The ship, a Bathurst class corvette, was built in 1941 and served during the Second World War. It is the largest land locked museum ship on display in Australia.

The museum also contains an exhibition of the Second World War in general.
