Fort Scratchley

Fort Scratchley was built between 1882 and 1942.

Its armament was composed of two 152,4mm guns of the BL 6 inch Mk VII naval gun type. These fired at the Japanese submarine I-21, which shelled the city on 8 June 1942.

It is currently a museum.
