Calverton National Cemetery

The National Cemeteries in the U.S.A. are used for war graves, graves of U.S. military personnel, veterans and their spouses but not exclusively so. There are also special state veteran cemeteries.

Calverton National Cemetery started after the Second World War. It is used to bury veterans of the Second World War and other wars. In 2008, there were in total 207,719 graves on this cemetery.
