National Cemetery of the Alleghenies

The National Cemeteries in the U.S.A. are used for war graves, graves of U.S. military personnel, veterans and their spouses but not exclusively so. There are also special state veteran cemeteries.

In 2008, there were in total 2,113 graves on this cemetery.


National Cemetery of the Alleghenies contains the graves of the following people, who fought for the United States of America and who gave their lives in the War in Afghanistan and/or Operation Enduring Freedom:

11 June 2010 , Sergeant 1st Class Robert J. Fike, aged 38
21 February 2011 , Sergeant Robert C. Sisson Jr., aged 29
02 December 2018 , Sergeant Jason Mitchell McClary, aged 24
