War Memorial 5th Battalion - The Welch Regiment

This memorial commemorates the men of the 5th Battalion - The Welch Regiment who were killed or missing in the First World War and the Second World War.

Since 2005, the 's-Hertogenbosch Stone stands at the monument for the 5th Brigade of the Welch Regiment in Pontypridd. This is intended as a reminder of the involvement of the troops from Wales in the liberation of Den Bosch at the end of October 1944.
Saturday April 6, 2019, representatives of the municipality of Den Bosch picked up a flame at the monument that will burn in the St. John's Cathedral in Den Bosch until the celebration and commemoration of 75 years of liberation from Den Bosch.
