French War Grave Longpont
On 8 June 1940, Second Lieutenant Andre Monty's Morane MS406 fighter plane was shot down during an air battle with the Luftwaffe above Longpont. He crashed on this spot and died. Andrey Monty's grave is near the wreckage of his airplane.
