Capas National Shrine - Memorial Camp O' Donnell

Camp O' Donnell was an American airforce-base. During the Japanese occupation of the Philippines in the Second World War, Camp O'Donnell was the final stop of the Bataan Death March and was used as an camp for American and Filipino POW's.

About 2,200 Americans and 27,000 Filipinos died in the camp. After the war, a Philippine National Memorial was erected to commemorate those who died in the camp.
